WHY I BUILT NESTCLOCK

Created by someone asking the same questions.

I’m Guillaume “G” Vives, 58, and I’ve worked continuously since finishing graduate school in 1992. I built NestClock while asking my own retirement questions, including how healthcare fits. I’m a technology and product builder, not a financial adviser. NestClock is an educational retirement-planning tool operated by NXProduct Inc.

Read my full story

After a lifetime of work, I started thinking seriously about what comes next. Could I retire? How much would I need? What would Social Security and healthcare cost? And what impact would federal and California taxes have on the money I could actually take home?

As a lifelong software builder—and a good geek—I studied the subject and created NestClock to bring those questions into one clear plan.

NestClock helps me explore scenarios. It does not decide whether I should retire. All current planning tools are available at no charge. Optional paid features may be introduced later, with notice and explicit consent before any charge.
